Hello! For anyone who is thinking about joining drama club in the fall, I'm here to tell you to just go ahead and do it! We cover every aspect of theater from stage acting to improvisation to monologues to behind the scenes crew work. We meet every Thursday after school. Our first meeting will be September 4th at 2:20 in the auditorium. See you there!

I just want to take a moment to say congratulations to all of you involved in the improv events of the last couple of weeks. Congratulations to the Urge! You deserve to move on to the championship round, and at least we can fight for the wildcard spot. And to absolutely everyone who participated in improv night - that was the best we've had in four years!!! Probably more than that, but that's all I can compare-:)I am so impressed with everyone's work, and I can't wait for our new improv events next year.

Okay fun begins this week. Let's just make sure we know what's going on.

Wednesday - Improv night rehearsal IMMEDIATELY after school
Thursday - Improv night!!! Wear all black and be at the school by 6:00. Tell all of your friends to come. I have the list of participants, Danielle and Carson are runners, and Ashley is working the ticket booth.
February 5 - Poetry out Loud competition. Participants should be at the school by 6 with three copies of their poems and should dress nicely!

A few reminders...
the drama club poetry out loud competition will be this week January 17th.
The Junior talent night will also be this night! We may have our poetry contest in my room if the juniors need the space.
The following week - the week of midterms we will have a drama club meeting Thursday January 24 at 12:30-2:00 approximately. This, however, is subject to change, so since only about three of you read this website I'm not very worried.
January 31 - Improv Night!
February 5 - School wide poetry out loud competition

Hi all! This past Saturday 6 strong, dedicated people helped clear the stage and prepare for our upcoming show. If you are feeling the green eyes of envy because you were not there, have no fear. We will meet again in two weeks - September 20 at 9:00. Wear clothes you can get dirty and bring some old newspaper!

A reminder - we will meet Tuesday Sept. 11 this week and not on Thursday.

Hi everyone! Just a few days of freedom left! Okay so I was thinking that it would be fun to start off with a contest. We're looking for new effective warm-ups - not games, warm-ups. Then on our first meeting, September 6, whoever has the best new warm-up wins a prize!

Also I have information concerning the fall shows at Oddfellows playhouse. I encourage you to do any of these - HOWEVER - be aware we'll of course have our own fall show, so you'd be choosing one or the other or living a very busy life, but here's the info:
