One more week...
Hi everyone! Just a few days of freedom left! Okay so I was thinking that it would be fun to start off with a contest. We're looking for new effective warm-ups - not games, warm-ups. Then on our first meeting, September 6, whoever has the best new warm-up wins a prize!
Also I have information concerning the fall shows at Oddfellows playhouse. I encourage you to do any of these - HOWEVER - be aware we'll of course have our own fall show, so you'd be choosing one or the other or living a very busy life, but here's the info:
Pre-Audition workshops for teens aged 14-20 take place on the following
dates:
Monday, August 27 with Enza Gianone (director for Chavez Ravine)
Tuesday, August 28 again with Enza
Wednesday, August 29 with Matt Pugliese (director of Grapes of Wrath)
Thursday, August 30 again with Matt
Tuesday, September 4 with Jeffery Allen (artistic director)
All workshops are FREE and start at 7:00, ending at 9:00, at Oddfellows
Playhouse; 128 Washington Street in Middletown--call 860-347-6143 for
more info! STUDENTS MUST ATTEND AT LEAST TWO OF THESE TO AUDITION FOR
THE SHOWS (Special circumstances can be arranged by calling me at
Oddfellows.)
AUDITIONS FOR THE FALL SEASON:
Chavez Ravine & The Grapes of Wrath: auditions are on Wednesday,
September 5 and Thursday, September 6th from 7:00-9:30 PM--students need
only attend one night, but should be prepared to stay the entire time.
No preparation needed--STUDENTS WILL BE CAST IN ONE OF THE TWO SHOWS!!!
